We've been thinking about redoing our little kitchen, looking for eco-friendly, fun and inexpensive ideas.
I just recently came across this great reuse idea for tin can lids - it was done back in 2008 as part of a decorator's show house (Kip's Bay). Wouldn't it make a great back-splash?

Are these really tin cans? Wow, they look so good and I've been throwing mine away!!
How to they create this? Did they weld, hammer, or glue? Ooh, this is brilliant!!!
It doesn't look like they are hammered, so I would assume some sort of adhesive was used.
